Mission, Evangelism and Volunteering




PLPC is a church seeking understanding. We embrace the mystery of God and aspire to have a deeper relationship with Him though study. We offer classes that focus on different Christian interests. Some classes are offerred year round and others are offerred in 4-8 week optoins. Please join us as we delve into the mystery.

Youth Classes

Sunday School: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Adult Classes

Sunday: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Lectionary Bible Study 
Led by Bill Allen, this class reads and discusses the Scripture for the day's sermon. Meets in the room adjacent to the gym.

Seekers Class 
This adult class shares and discusses Bible passages or inspirational texts. The class is led by our illustrious leader, Jon Loudermilk. For a relaxed but reverent church school class, you are welcome to join us across the hall from the choir room any Sunday morning around 9:00 a.m.

Sunday: 4:30-6:00pm

WALK(Women are love keepers) Led by Crystal Caviness, this small group studies the Word, sharesd their lives and prays together.   

Wednesday: 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Breathe in the Word:  
Bible study is one of the cornerstones of discipleship. A church without Bible study is a church without life...without breath. Join us as we breathe in deeply God's life-giving Word! Mike and Kathy Howard lead this loving community of study. 

Wednesday: 6:00 - 7:00 pm 

WALK(Women are love keepers) Led by Crystal Caviness, this small group typically shares a short video devotion, shares their lives and prays together.

Other small group opportunities: Advent and Lenten studies are offered by Pastor Cindy, as well as occasional topical studies on subjects like marriage and family, boundaries and spiritual disciplines.
